Let's take a shot at Beating Juvenile Diabetes!

Baskets for Bradentm is a on going fund-raising campaign to help find a cure for Juvenile (type 1) Diabetes.Throughout the year there will be different fund-raiser's held around the greater Pittsburgh area, the main fundraiser for this campaign is held in conjunction with Duquesne University's Men's Basketball home game season annually. The premise is to have individual people or businesses co-sponsor a game and to have a Business be a Title Sponsor for the entire season and match all the co-sponsors contributions during the season. There were 15 home games for the 2007 - 2008 season, and we are proud to say that all 15 were co-sponsored for the year. The total amount raised during the 07-08 season was $18,000.00. Coach Ron Everhart and Braden's Parents would like to thank all of those who contributed to the campaign and made our first year a success.

The photo below shows approximately 2,350 syringes and lancet needles used in the fight to treat Braden in his first five months of a life long battle with Juvenile (type 1) Diabetes. Braden was 3 years old when diagnosed, now imagine an infant born with this deadly disease! Please help join Duquesne University's Men's head Basketball coach Ron Everhart and Braden's parents in the fight to cure Juvenile Diabetes.
